A Celebration of Lorrain’s Life will be held at 1:00 P.M. Wednesday September 25, 2019 at Pulliam Funeral Home, Oblong, IL.
Burial will follow in Oblong Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 11:00 A.M. till time of Celebration.

Lorraine D. Lorance, 97, Oblong, IL went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday September 22, 2019. She was residing at Ridgeview Care Center in Oblong IL.
Lorraine was born on April 5, 1922 in Crawford County, IL and was the daughter of Russell and Vessie (Sholders) Fielder. On August 3, 1942 she married Floyd Earl Lorance who preceded her in death on August 2, 2007. She and Earl did many things together.
Lorraine was a lifelong Homemaker spending most of her time trying to stay ahead of Earl. She graduated from Oblong High School in 1940. She was an active member of the Oblong American Legion Post #219 Auxiliary and Prior Grove Baptist Church for many years. You could always find her outside working her flower and vegetable gardens. She also enjoyed crocheting, knitting and antiquing.
She is survived by a nephew Dale and Margaret Fielder of Oblong, IL; three nieces Sue and Vaughn Johnson of Hutsonville, IL, Darlene and Larry Ferguson of Cleveland, TN and Erma Fielder of Oblong, IL along with several great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Preceding Lorraine in death were her parents; husband; one brother Guy Fielder and two sisters Maxine Tohill and Alvena Smith; one niece Lois Ann Draper and four nephews Roger Tohill, Billy Smith, Donnie Smith and Lowell Fielder.
